पंजाब सरकार का भ्रष्टाचार पर वार, रोडवेज के जनरल मैनेजर समेत चार कर्मचारी निलंबित

पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान का भ्रष्टाचार पर लगातार वार चल रहा है। इस मुहिम को आगे बढ़ाते हुए परिवहन मंत्री लालजीत सिंह भुल्लर के आदेश पर पंजाब रोडवेज के जनरल मैनेजर समेत चार कर्मचारियों को अनियमितताओं और भ्रष्ट गतिविधियों के आरोपियों को निलंबित कर दिया गया है।

कैबिनेट मंत्री लालजीत सिंह भुल्लर ने बताया कि पंजाब रोडवेज के श्री मुक्तसर साहिब डीपू में हो रही अनियमितताओं सम्बन्धी उनको शिकायतें प्राप्त हुई थीं, जिस सम्बन्धी प्राथमिक पड़ताल करवाने के लिए जांच टीम गठित की गई थी।

उन्होंने बताया कि जांच टीम द्वारा पेश की गई परीक्षक रिपोर्ट के आधार पर श्री मुक्तसर साहिब डीपू के जनरल मैनेजर रणजीत सिंह बग्गा, सब-इंस्पेक्टर बलविन्दर सिंह, सीनियर सहायक परगट सिंह और कंडक्टर गुरशरन सिंह को सरकारी ख़जाने को वित्तीय नुकसान पहुँचाने और भ्रष्टाचार गतिविधियाँ चलाने के गंभीर दोषों के अंतर्गत निलंबित किया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि यह अधिकारी और कर्मचारी प्राईवेट बसों की अड्डा फीस तो ले लेते थे परन्तु उसकी पर्ची नहीं देते थे, और बनती रकम सरकारी ख़जाने में जमा करवाने की जगह अपनी जेबों में डाल लेते थे।

इन कर्मचारियों को पंजाब सिविल सेवाएं (सजा और अपील) रूल्ज, 1970 के नियम 4 (2) (ए) के अंतर्गत तुरंत ड्यूटी से निलंबित किया गया है। कर्मचारियों का निलंबन समय के दौरान हैड-क्वार्टर कार्यालय डायरैक्टर स्टेट ट्रांसपोर्ट, पंजाब, चंडीगढ़ होगा।
